Rob Denkhaus

Rob Denkhaus is the Natural Resource Manager at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, a 3,600+ acre greenspace located in Fort Worth, Texas.  In addition to coordinating a successful urban feral hog control program, Rob is responsible for all land management activities on the Refuge including prescribed burning and managed grazing with a bison herd.  Rob is an instructor for multiple Texas Master Naturalist chapters and serves as current chair of Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Wildlife Diversity Advisory Committee and the state’s Teaming With Wildlife steering committee.  Rob also serves on the board of directors of Crosstimbers Connections, a grassroots environmental education organization, and The Wildlife Society’s Urban Wildlife Working Group.  Rob also is an adjunct professor of environmental science at Texas Christian University.
